The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing the Supply Chain processes and determine methods for improvement regarding cutting costs, controlling, and replenishing inventory, and shipping products. Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Ensures finished goods are available to support Local and Export sales demands.
• Ensures production forecast are submitted on a timely basis.
• Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase the efficiency of the supply chain and profitability for the company.
• Conducts monthly meetings with Brand Managers to review sales demands and forecast for ordering finished goods.
• Ensures contract compliance from suppliers and reviews reports on any discrepancy with regards to costings.
• Supports the Marketing Innovations and R&D efforts through attending meetings, providing supplier information and cost-effective concepts.
• Creates purchase orders for finished goods from finished goods suppliers, based on Stock Policy to meet sales demands.
• Reports monthly on days OOS (out of stocks) and reasons for stock outs for submission to Supply Chain Manager.
• Maintains a cost saving approach to Purchasing by negotiating Freight with shipping lines & agents to reduce the cost per case, Haulage and Contract services within the organization.
• Review Goods Receive Notes from Cold Storage Warehouses and required invoices for daily submission to Finance Inventory.
Position Requirements:
• An Undergraduate Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any related discipline with minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience or a combination of qualifications and experience in FCMG industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
