With sixteen years of experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods arena, Rachel Holder brings to Vemco her experience in category management, retailer economics, sales and trade marketing, leading and managing teams, and brand management, giving her the wide skillset to be in the position of our Commercial Manager. Rachel previously held the post of Divisional Manager of Key Accounts at another organisation and worked at Unilever Caribbean – Trinidad for ten (10) years holding several positions of which her last role was National Sales Manager. Holder graduated from Heriot-Watt University with both a BSc. in Management and an MSc in Marketing.
Rachel also gained international experience managing operations in the discount retail industry when she worked as a Front End Manager at Kmart International. She has also held positions within the financial/service sector for a period of seven and a half years, has enjoyed exposure to areas in Finance, Customer Service, Human Resource Management, Investment Instruments, and Budgeting Insurance (group, health and individual) and also worked successfully supervising office staff and sales persons.
Rachel lives by a statement her grandmother relayed to her at a young age: “No matter what you do, do it to the best of your ability- always give MORE than 100%.” This is why she is passionate and always driven by a desire to be the best at what she does along with continuous self-development which is not compromised. She is married with three lovely children and loves outdoor activities, especially in a world that is so technologically consumed. God and family continue to remain crucial drivers for Rachel.
